Oyster is the same wallet on every screen. The web app has the same screens and uses the same seed phrases as the extension. Installing it from the browser means there is no app store download. Once installed it has its own icon and opens even without a connection.

How to install the Pearl wallet on your phone
iPhone and iPad
- Open wallet.oysterwallet.app in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open Oyster from your home screen.
Android
- Open wallet.oysterwallet.app in Chrome.
- Tap the menu (three dots).
- Tap Install app and confirm.
- Open Oyster from your home screen or app drawer.
Desktop
The web app also works on a computer. In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar. On a desktop browser, though, the Chrome extension is usually the better fit.
Create or restore your wallet
Open the installed app and choose Create a new wallet or I already have a seed phrase.

Wallets do not sync between the two. A wallet you create in the extension will not appear on your phone until you restore it there from its seed phrase or an Oyster backup file.
Keep your phone wallet safe
- Clearing site data deletes the wallet. Clearing browsing data for wallet.oysterwallet.app removes the vault from that phone. Your seed phrase brings it back.
- Keep the seed phrase on paper, never in your photos or notes app.
- Use a strong password. After three wrong attempts, Oyster makes you wait before the next try.
- Watch out for fake apps and look-alike tokens: Pearl scams to avoid.

Are my keys stored on Oyster's servers when I use the web app?
No. The vault is encrypted and stored by your phone's browser for wallet.oysterwallet.app on that device only. Your seed phrase is never sent anywhere. That also means clearing the browser's site data deletes the wallet from the phone, so keep your seed phrase written down.
Can I use the same Pearl wallet on my phone and in Chrome?
Yes. Enter the same seed phrase in both, or restore from an Oyster backup file. The extension and the web app do not sync with each other, but they read the same addresses on the chain.
