PRL withdrawal not received? What to check

Sent PRL from an exchange or pool and it has not arrived? Check the txid, confirmations, network and address with this step-by-step list.

You withdrew PRL from an exchange or a mining pool and your wallet still shows nothing. A PRL withdrawal not received is usually just a withdrawal that is still in progress somewhere. Work through the checks below in order, starting with the txid, and you will know exactly where your coins are.

The one thing you need: the transaction ID (txid). With it you can see on the public explorer whether the PRL was sent, where it went and how many confirmations it has.

PRL withdrawal pending: the checklist

1. Is there a txid?

Open the exchange’s or pool’s withdrawal history. Statuses like “processing”, “pending review” or “awaiting approval” with no txid mean the PRL has not left their wallet yet. Nothing on the Pearl network can speed that up. Some platforms review withdrawals by hand or pause them for wallet maintenance; their support can tell you why.

Pools also pay out on their own schedule, usually once your balance passes a minimum. Check the pool’s payout page before assuming something is wrong. The mining payout wallet guide covers how pool payouts work.

2. Look the txid up on the explorer

Paste it into explorer.pearlresearch.ai. If the explorer cannot find it, the txid may be from the wrong network, copied incorrectly, or not broadcast yet. Ask the exchange to confirm it.

3. Count the confirmations

Zero confirmations means it is in the mempool waiting for a block. Pearl blocks arrive every few minutes, so a fresh withdrawal normally confirms soon. If it sits unconfirmed for a long time, the sender’s fee was probably low; only the sender can speed it up. See how Oyster handles fees and Speed up for your own sends.

4. Check the receiving address, character by character

On the explorer, compare the output address with the one in your wallet. Check the start and the end, not just the first few characters. A mainnet Pearl address starts with prl1. If the address on the explorer is not yours, the PRL went somewhere else and cannot be pulled back.

5. Check you are looking at the right wallet

  • Several wallets: in Oyster, tap the wallet name at the top and switch. Each wallet has its own addresses.
  • Restored from a seed: Oyster scans the first 250 addresses of a restored wallet. Give the first scan a moment and tap refresh.
  • Same seed, other app: Oyster and the official Pearl Wallet desktop app derive the same addresses, so a withdrawal to either shows up in both. See importing a Pearl seed phrase.
  • Testnet: testnet addresses start with tprl1. Make sure your wallet is on mainnet.

6. Make sure it was native PRL

Some exchanges list look-alike tokens under the PRL ticker. Perle is a Solana token, and wrapped PRL (wPRL) lives on Ethereum. Neither arrives at a prl1 address, and a withdrawal of them will not show in a Pearl wallet. Read Pearl vs Perle if you are not sure which one you hold.

7. Tiny or mined amounts

  • Mining rewards paid straight from a block (solo mining) need 100 confirmations before they can be spent. Oyster shows them as maturing until then.
  • Very small outputs of 0.001 PRL or less are frozen by Oyster as protected coins, because they may carry PRC-20 inscriptions. They count in your balance but will not be spent unless you unfreeze them.

Pearl deposit not arrived at an exchange

Going the other way, exchanges credit PRL only after a set number of confirmations, and each exchange picks its own number. SafeTrade credits PRL after 10 Pearl blocks, about 30 minutes. For other exchanges the number varies, so check their deposit page. If the explorer shows enough confirmations at the correct deposit address and the deposit still is not credited, open a ticket with the txid.

When you sell PRL through Oyster, your wallet sends it to an exchange deposit address and the same 10-block wait applies before the sale. Oyster shows the progress on the home screen. See how to sell PRL. Note that PRL on its way to be sold, and any USDT buying power, is held by Oyster for you, not by your wallet.

What to send support

If you still need help from an exchange, pool or wallet, include:

  • the txid,
  • the receiving address,
  • the amount and the time of the withdrawal,
  • a screenshot of the withdrawal record (never of your seed phrase).
No real support agent will ever ask for your seed phrase or password. Anyone who does, including someone who messages you first offering to “recover” a withdrawal, is trying to steal your PRL.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my PRL withdrawal not showing in my wallet?

Usually one of four things: the exchange has not sent it yet (no txid), it is sent but unconfirmed, it went to a different address or wallet than the one you are looking at, or your wallet has not refreshed. Get the txid and check it on explorer.pearlresearch.ai first.

How long does a PRL withdrawal take?

Once the exchange broadcasts it, the first confirmation normally comes within a few minutes, since Pearl blocks arrive every few minutes. Before that, the exchange's own processing (reviews, batching, wallet maintenance) can add anything from minutes to hours.

Where do I find the txid for a PRL withdrawal?

In the exchange's withdrawal history, usually next to the withdrawal once its status is sent or completed. If there is no txid yet, the withdrawal has not been broadcast to the Pearl network.

My PRL deposit to an exchange has not arrived. What now?

Check the txid on the explorer and count confirmations. Exchanges wait for a set number of blocks before crediting (SafeTrade waits 10). If it has enough confirmations and was sent to the right deposit address, contact the exchange's support with the txid.

Can I get back PRL sent to the wrong address?

Only if the owner of that address sends it back. Pearl transactions cannot be reversed. That is why it is worth checking the address before every withdrawal.
